I'm feeling a not so great way about this bag.

At some point, Lip Monthly stopped putting the items on the bags and stopped sending consistent bags. I've kept an eye on the reviews and it seems that Lip Monthly fell apart a bit.

Makeuprevue Highlighter (Golden Glow) ($11.99) - This could be such a pretty highlight if it weren't so chunky. It didn't apply smoothly and it doesn't look super great in the swatch below or on my face. For the price, you could easily get two Wet n Wild highlights that perform so much better.

NYC Ultra Moist Lip Wear (Ruby) ($0.99) - The name 'Ruby' for this shade of brown is really weird. The lipstick is fine for the price but I'm a little irritated that a 99 cent lipstick came in a subscription box.

ecoLips Eco Tint Lip Balm (Rose Quartz) ($4.49) - This came in one of my favorite discontinued bags, Lip Factory, a while ago. It's a really nice lip tint for no-makeup days but it's also not so pigmented that you couldn't use it as a go-to lip balm.

Sorme Smearproof Lip Liner (Dusk) ($11.99) - This is a pretty decent lip liner. I don't know that it's better than my WnW liners that are significantly cheaper. I know it seems like I'm comparing a lot to WnW but those are amazing products that are cheaper than this and work better, which is all that matters.

Swatches L-R: Makeuprevue Cosmetics, NYC, EcoLips, Sorme.

Overall, this bag was just okay. It was valued at $29.46 but the items were just meh. I expect a bit more from a subscription box than a lipstick that I can grab at the dollar store and some just okay pieces.

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
