Lollipop Posse Lacquer - Love is a Hell You Cannot Bear Review | Swatch My Stash

Happy Tuesday! There's literally nothing going on around here because husband is finishing up his Master's degree and that means it's crunch time! I'm just being the grammar dictator while reading his papers over and over to make sure they read right (yay). Hope the start of your week has started off nicely! Now, Love is a Hell You Cannot Bear.

Love is a Hell You Cannot Bear is a magenta crelly that is filled with violet to blue shifting shimmer and micro flakies.

Brush macro.

Bottle macro.

Glossy nail macro.

I wasn't sure I'd love this polish when I put it on my nails. It's definitely the right color scheme (vibrant pink with blue shimmer) but the actual result on my nail isn't my favorite polish. It's a sheer polish and therefore at the ends of my nails, you can clearly see light through.

I can't really put my finger on why this polish irked me a bit, I guess I had hoped for more from it. It's more the formula than the actual color scheme, because the colors are amazing, but the formula was definitely a miss for me.

Matte nail macro.

I don't particularly like this polish matte. It's pretty but I feel like some of the pop is missing and the micro flakies just sit there. The depth and the squishiness is missing.

Formula: Good, some VNL, a little watery.
Coats for Opacity: Three thin coats.
Ease of Dry: Normal dry.
Texture: None noted.
Finish: Glossy shine.
Removal: Normal removal, no issues noted.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
