Ipsy Glam Bag - June 2017 | Blog My Backlog

What is Ipsy?: Ipsy is a monthly subscription that sends 4-5 beauty/makeup products plus a different makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire. They have expanded the points program to give you additional points by sharing your bag and following their content creators on social media accounts!

How Much is Ipsy?: Ipsy is only $10 per month shipped to the United States or $10 plus shipping ($4.95) to Canada.

Look at all the pink, you might think it's February!

I'm not the biggest fan of this bag. Lighter colors for makeup bags leads to stains because makeup will eventually leak/break.

Info card.

Delectable by Cake Beauty Triple Moisture Body Lotion (Coconuts & Cream) ($3.50) - Seriously, possibly the best smelling lotions come from this brand. It's the perfect combination of a laying on a beach and sweet. On top of it smelling great, it's amazing at moisturizing as well!

Kokie Cosmetics Nail Polish (Gone Rio) ($6.00) - Not the best polish I've ever had, but also not the worst. It reminds me of China Glaze and Sinful Colors with regards to the smell and the performance.
theBalm Cosmetics Balm Springs Blush ($3.74) - I LOVE theBalm products but I'm tired of these itty bitty products from them. It's fine for eyeshadows but when it's a highlight or a blush, it's difficult to get a good amount of product on the brush without going overboard. The shade is gorgeous and perfect for me so I will suffer through to use this!

Vasanti Cosmetics Power Oils Lip Gloss (Super Mom) ($6.77) - Described as a nude taupe mauve (seriously guys, are we just throwing all the names possible and hoping something sticks), which it isn't. The gloss is gorgeous, although I would have considered it a glossy lipstick rather than a gloss. It's very full coverage but it sticky.

beauty for real I-Line 24-7 Waterproof Eyeliner (24 Karat) ($14.00) - Seriously one of the best eyeliners I've used, especially one that's not in a 'traditional' shade. It glides on nicely and stays for a while. I haven't worn any makeup for 24 hours, however, so I cannot attest to that claim.

theBalm Cosmetics, Vasanti Cosmetics, beauty for real.

This bag was valued at $34.01, well over the cost of the bag. I loved a majority of the products so that's always a positive, and I still liked the products that I didn't love. Honestly, send me a bag with theBalm (although please up the sizes of the samples) and Delectable by Cake Beauty and it'll be a win!

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
