Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer - In the Dawning Light Review | Swatch My Stash

This polish was actually picked up at The Indie Shop last year. Yikes. Luckily, the store is currently open and this polish is available, so don't miss out on it! It's such a beautiful and unique purple that needs all of the love possible. This polish is actually from the TIS collection (I reviewed some of that collection here) so you know it was one of the first ones I grabbed when I went to her table!

Now, In the Dawning Light.

In the Dawning Light is a blue-leaning purple with red/gold/green chromatic shift.

Brush macro.

Bottle macro.

Glossy nail macro.

Look at that shimmer. It's so beautiful that I just wanted to stare at it constantly.

My only complaint with this polish is there was a thin first coat, it almost looked like it would never be fully opaque but that was fixed with the second and third coats.

Matte nail macro.

No, no, do not pass go, do not collect $200. These need to be glossy and shiny with the shiniest top coat you can find. The shimmer is barely there with a matte top coat and you definitely want to show off that shimmer.

Formula: Good, thin first coat.
Coats for Opacity: Three thin coats.
Ease of Dry: Quick dry.
Texture: None noted.
Finish: Satin.
Removal: Normal removal, no issues noted.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
