The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer - I Would Walk 417 Miles | March 2018 Polish Pickup

I'm back with a polish from the March Polish Pickup! I teased you about one from another brand, but I actually have two PPU polishes this month! The March theme is Books, which I was, of course, happy about!

If you want to see ALL of the March polishes and products, check out my friend Velashaa at Two Girls, One Blush!

Polish Pickup is a monthly polish shopping extravaganza! Each month, there's a new theme (voted on by group members) and makers individually decide if they want to participate and create their own polish to meet the theme. This month, the store is open from 3/2-3/5, and you can buy as many or as few polishes as you want. The shipping is $3.00 total, no matter how many polishes you get, and they combine shipping if you make more than one order during the weekend! (International shipping has gone up, check the store when it opens for your specific pricing.)

Polish Pickup's info:

I Would Walk 417 Miles is a dark gray based scattered holographic with white, red, and aqua-blue sparks, cyan-to-copper and blue-to-red color shifting shimmer, indigo-to-purple color shifting aurora pigment, blue pearl and electric blue micro flakies, and silver holographic flakies and microglitter.

Bottle macro.

Glossy nail macro.

You know I'm a HUGE fan of grey polishes, so this was destined to be one of 'those' polishes! It's deep and mysterious and I love it.

Check out that holographic, that shimmer, oh my.

Matte nail macro.

You can really see the smokey-ness here.

I mostly like this polish glossy. It's cool with a matte top coat, but the shimmers are gone.

There was a request by the lovely maker to compare this new polish to Rainbow Moon Heartache from the Sailor Guardians Collection. The actual shades of grey aren't the same but the shimmer and holographic is similar. Also, I wish I had skills to combine these two polishes on the same nail. It'd be AWESOME.

Formula: Excellent.
Coats for Opacity: Two thin coats.
Ease of Dry: Normal.
Texture: None noted.
Finish: Shine.

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
