I love the tiara on the woman on the bag, and I super love that she's a redhead!

It's always interesting to see what Sephora will put on their bags each month!

From first glance, I wasn't impressed at the April bag.

Dr Dennis Gross Skincare Ferulic + Retinol Wrinkle Recovery Peel ($11.00) - I have wrinkles, I have accepted that, but I don't have enough wrinkles to need this high of a dose of retinol. This is for deeper wrinkles than I have so I passed this to my mom for her use (not saying she has really bad wrinkles, I just knew she'd rather use it than I would).

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer ($9.00) - Once upon a time, this was my holy grail primer. I have switched to one by Benefit but I still reach for this one from time to time. I don't find that it fills my pores particularly well but I do like using it on my forehead, jawline, and chin. A side note, I really am interested in trying out some of the newer products in this line!

SEPHORA Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover ($3.75) - Honestly, I'm not looking to switch my makeup remover. I currently use an oil that I find works perfectly. This isn't a bad makeup remover and it's super convenient considering you can grab it for relatively cheap at Sephora, it's just not one that I'm going to gravitate towards more than any other makeup remover.

OLEHENRIKSEN Truth Serum ($7.00) - This is one of those products that everyone can use, it just works well for all skin types as well as sensitive skin. I like this product, I don't use it daily because I find it makes my skin more sensitive when I'm out if I use it. There's also not enough of the product to get a true indication on if it works or not, but it's not such an expensive product that I'm instantly deterred from using it and falling in love with it.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua XL Eye Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner (Black) ($5.25) - I know this is supposed to be waterproof and 'be perfect for creating a tightline' but it isn't. It smudges easily and seemed to transfer the same as non-waterproof, cheaper pencils.

Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume (Sample) - I really love the brand name and this perfume is one that I surprisingly like. I don't expect to like most perfumes (I'm SUPER picky) so when I like one that's outside of what I would have gravitated towards, I really am happily shocked! This has a nice earthy scent and when I looked it up, it was named such because it's only made from one key note and therefore, not your typical multilayered scent.

The April bag was valued at $36! That's stunning, if you liked all of the products. Considering I was a fan of just about everything, I call the April bag a success!

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
