Contrary Polish - Sweet Poison | July Polish Pickup
Hi, y'all! It's time for another new-to-me brand thanks to Polish Pickup. The concept of PPU is such a good one and yet, such a bad one (for my wallet and my backlog). Contrary Polish specializes in contrasting shimmer, which means I just want to buy all the polishes!
Now, to Sweet Poison
Sweet Poison is a medium blue leaning green creme based linear holographic with aqua shimmer and sapphire blue microflakes.

Yes, another blue. I have a problem and I don't want any help! This one is so unique and such a good first polish for me from Contrary. The shimmer slays me.
The only thing that makes me sad about this polish is the visible nail line. A third coat could have probably alleviated it, and it's really only noticeable in direct lighting, but it still makes me a little sad (or it did when I had long nails, #shortylife).
Matte nail macro.
I really love this polish with the matte top coat. The microflakes really show through and the base color is gorgeous matte.
