I'm always thrilled when a Mystic Matte is included in a Vanishing Cabinet.

I never watched The NeverEnding Story, I know, I'm bad.

Great Warrior is a blackened brown base with gold, green, and red sparkles and a reddish brown shift.

Great Warrior is an awesome outer corner shade and you could even use a brush for a part and your finger for the rest to make all of the dimensions of the eyeshadow come out. It applied very well with a brush or a finger, but I recommend using a flat shader brush, one of those old-school sponges (they're actually pretty useful), or your finger!

Luck Dragon is a matte white base with pale blue/purple sparkles.

Luck Dragon is a very soft white, super perfect for an inner corner highlight or a browbone highlight.

Swamp of Sadness is a deep blue-green with purple and green sparkles.

Swamp of Sadness is that 'to die for' blue eyeshadow. It's just in the middle of not too dark, not too light, and has this gorgeous shimmer. It's nice for an all-over shadow or just as a pop of color on your lid.

Moon Child is a nude base with a pink shimmer.

Moon Child swatch.

As you can see, there is some of my lip tone popping through. I don't have super washed out lips so I would actually use a concealer underneath if your lips are as pigmented as mine or more pigmented. It pulls a bit more yellow on me than I would like, but not so much that it's not wearable. I really love this with the Changling top coats by NM on top!

T-B: Moon Child, Swamp of Sadness, Luck Dragon, Great Warrior (shadows first have brush swatch and then finger swatch).

I might have an affinity for this author.

Overall, I really loved the subscription. While I cannot reference the names (even my mom hasn't watched the movie, so don't blame me!!), I still loved the items. I don't think you could only use this month's bag for a full look but you could definitely come close!

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
