Paint it Pretty Polish Summer Fun Collection Review

Happy Thursday! If your week has been anything like mine, it's big booms coming from either fireworks, guns, or massive thunderstorms. My poor puppy is going to need some puppy Xanax before this week is over with, that's for sure! Even with the storms trying to knock out power, I wanted to make sure to get this post up reviewing a new-to-me brand, Paint it Pretty Polish!

This collection is available now, so head over to her store and grab it! Each polish is $7.99 USD with the full collection being $35.95!

I was all over this collection! It has all of my favorite tones/shades. I literally squeaed when I saw it.

Campfire & S'Mores is a blue with shifts of green, yellow, purple, blue and gold shimmer.

Glossy nail macro.

This reminds me of a nice pair of jeans...if they had a lot of shimmer?

Look at the shimmer in the bottle!

Matte, it's like a nice worn pair jeans. (Maybe I have shopping on my mind?)

Barefoot & BBQs is a purple/blue with red to purple shimmer.

I always love a good purple!

The depth on this one amazes me. Each coat added something more amazing than the last.

I just love it like this. Like velvet when the light hits it right.

Formula: Good.
Coats for Opacity: Tw coats.
Ease of Dry: Quick.

Lazy Days & Fireworks is a violet purple with golden to green to blue shimmer.

Glossy nail macro.

One of my two favorites from this collection. It's a tie with one other, I bet you can guess which one.

The shimmer, the shift, I die!

Matte nail macro.

I don't love this one matte as much as I expected. It loses something amazing.

Formula: Good.
Coats for Opacity: Three thin coats.
Ease of Dry: Quick.
Texture: None noted.
Finish: Shine.

Digging in the Dirt is a black base with shifting red to orange to yellow shimmer.la

Glossy nail macro.

I wasn't sure about this polish when I first started swatching it. It was a little watery and the first coat made me worry. It worked out with the second and third coats, though.

I wouldn't call this a black polish, I think it's a blackened purple.

Matte nail macro.

The shift comes out strong with this one when it's matte!

Formula: Good, a little watery.
Coats for Opacity: Three thin coats. Looks better with the second and third coats.
Ease of Dry: Quick.
Texture: None noted.
Finish: Shine.

Live in the Sunshine is a blue/green with purple to orange shimmer.

Glossy nail macro.

My other favorite, obviously.

The shimmer, the shift, the base, everything!!

Matte nail macro.

The purple flecks look so good in this base!

Formula: Good.
Coats for Opacity: Three thin coats.
Ease of Dry: Quick.
Texture: None noted.
Finish: Shine.

As always, let me know what you think of this collection in the comments!
