Marvel Collector Corps - Dr Strange Review

What is Marvel Collector Corps?: Marvel Collector Corps is a bimonthly subscription box that is curated and sent out by Marvel itself. Each box will have a theme that coincides with a release that's upcoming. Last box was Ant Man and came in around the time the Ant Man movie came out. This month's theme is Secret Wars, which definitely caught my attention. Since there aren't any Marvel movies coming out soon, I was interested to see what this box would include. How Much is Marvel Collector Corps?: Marvel Collector Corps is $25/month (plus $6.95 shipping) or $150/year (plus $41.70 shipping). If you do the year-long subscription, you become part of the Founders Program and get a special gift at the end of your year. If you didn't do the math, I'll just tell you - you don't get any type of discount for doing the yearly program, it's just to make things easier.

Did you see Dr. Strange? Oh my gosh, so good. Also, so trippy!

How good was the casting of Benedict Cumberbatch? He is Dr. Strange!

Info card.

Dr. Strange T-Shirt ($15.00) - Because this is husband's subscription, the shirts are for him. Strangely the shirt doesn't fit, it's at least a full size bigger than every other shirt we've received from MCC but it's still tagged as the regular size. It's a cool shirt but because it's so baggy it's being given away.

Dr. Strange Pop! ($20.00) - YES! One of these days, I'll have to share our Pop collection (after husband builds the new shelves because currently, they are everywhere) but this one fits in so nicely. I had purchased a Dr. Strange exclusive from some convention and was thrilled to see another exclusive for our collection.

Dr. Strange Comic Book ($4.99) - This is a variant cover and will probably be given to a friend that actually collects comic books. I do like the cover but I don't want to start another collection.

Dr. Strange Pop! Mug ($10.00) - Husband has a new mug. These are short mugs but they are deeper and actually hold a lot. I like it a lot but it's his (it's mine when he's out of town though!).

Patch & Pin ($5.00/each) - Love both, the patch has been put in husband's stuff and the pin is going up on my pin board.

Spoiler card for December 2016.

This box was valued at $59.99, definitely making it worth the cost of the box. We have downgraded to only getting the box when the theme is one we will really like, meaning no more bad boxes. We did purchase (and receive) the X-Men box so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
