TacPack - September 2016

What is TacPack?: TacPack is a monthly subscription box full of gun gear for shooters and gun fanatics. Each month may include AR15 accessories, knives, EDC tools, targets, patches, shirts, cleaning materials, and stickers. Each box will include 3-7 pieces each month. You tell them your shirt size and glove size, so there's a slight hint at what might be in boxes!

How Much is TacPack?: The subscription is currently $49.95. You can also purchase past boxes when they are available and even items from the past boxes or specialty boxes.

Check out past TacPack reviews here.

As soon as I opened the box, I knew it would be an interesting box for September.

Info card.

ReadyMan Survival Card ($13.00) - This is the Wilderness Survival card with necessities for if you are outside (willingly or otherwise). It's small enough to fit in a wallet and you can have the tools anytime. I don't really prefer any of these sets for my own use but they are great for go bags or daily use.

All Rifles Matter T-Shirt (Part of the NineLine Package) - I don't really have anything to say, it's a soft t-shirt.

Wild Hedgehog Tactical Ouch Pouch ($15.00) - This bag was immediately put in husband's backpack for when he goes to Obstacle Course Races. These little packs are so handy and come in handy!

Bellflower AK47 ($15.00) - It's a keychain in the shape of an AK47. It's also really heavy so it's not currently being used as a keychain. It's really cool and will end up being put in the man-area or possibly used as a paperweight on his desk.

Armaspec Ambi-Selector ($40.00) - This is a safety selector for your AR-15, and yes, $40 for it. Husband hasn't installed it or even mentioned using it, so I'm not sure if he's going to.

NineLine Package ($25.00) - I like koozies and the brand is based on American Patriotism, so I like it. I'm not sure if husband is going to put the sticker on his truck but I will always take another koozie to keep my sodas cool in the summer!

This box was valued at $108, so double the cost, but it didn't really have a wow-factor item that was something useful. I think the safety selector is supposed to be something amazing but it's definitely a niche item that most people wouldn't want.

Let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
