Look at the packaging! I have to show off how amazing this looks. Packaging is a big deal to me, I want things to be presented well when I purchase and this meets that perfectly.
Scale Baby is a charcoal grey crelly with silver blue shimmer and hex red glitters. Also notice that there are new bottles? I loved her old ones but this style is my absolute favorite.
Brush macro!
Bottle macro.
Nail macro! Look at the red pops, I love them so much.
Scale Baby is a one-coater! Yep, that's right. I used one thick coat on my first two fingers and two thinner coats on the second two fingers and I couldn't tell a difference!
The closer you look at the polish, the more you can see the silver blue shimmer. It's not something that's in your face, just a little something extra.
Matte macro.
This is a slightly textured polish, this polish does have quite a few glitters involved so that is to be expected. A single coat of top coat smoothed it out and I was good to go.
The red glitters definitely show through more when matte, but I find that is the norm with black bases. A glossy black polish tends to overwhelm most glitters involved and I just feel this type of polish looks significantly better matte. (I'm super biased, I love matte everything.)
Again, this polish is available tomorrow so make sure you are ready to grab it (or get it for free if it's your birthday!). Let me know what you think about this polish in the comments!
