The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer - Stellar Stream Review

The Howling Boutique, a nail polish jewelry shop, has now created a nail polish line named Supermoon Lacquer. Get it, Howling, Supermoon? It's all a thing! I finally have the Ready to Launch Collection to show you guys and have a brand new Macro Lens Set to use, which means I'll be Macro-ing all the things! The full Ready to Launch collection (9 polishes) is available for a discounted $85 or each polish is available for $9-$10. Check out other The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer reviews here!

I will have the polishes each getting their own review (hopefully) daily. I just want to make sure each polish gets the appropriate attention! First up, I have Stellar Stream

Stellar Stream - a bright bubblegum pink with coral undertones and a strong turquoise-to-purple color shifting shimmer.

Based on just the description, I had a lot to live up to. I knew that it would be difficult to show all of the goodies in typical manicure shots, so I wanted to up my macro game to show off all of it!

Look at the shift! I love pink, I really love blue, and I love how this becomes cotton candy goodness.

Now on to the important things that you want to know about this polish. Stellar Stream does become opaque in two thicker coats, as shown on the pointer and middle fingers, or in one coat over a white base, ring finger and pinky.

Shown above is Stellar Stream with a single coat of glossy top coat to add shine.

Stellar Stream applies very smoothly and takes about the typical amount of time to dry. I didn't notice any absurdly fast drying times, but I didn't feel like I had to wait either.

Shown above with matte top coat. I like Stellar Stream with a matte top coat, but I love it with glossy only because all of the iridescent shimmer!

Outside under cloudy overcast, the coral undertones disappear and Stellar Stream becomes a super vibrant pink! Some of the blue shimmer also shows, but this was primarily for the pink!

I admit, I always have a slight bit of hesitancy when it comes to buying polishes from a new brand. I'm not sure why, but I always start off with the slightest thought that it will go horribly wrong. I did end up buying all nine polishes, so something told me to give this line a shot! I was very pleased with my first polish from Supermoon Lacquer and will definitely be buying more from her. Stay tuned for the rest of the polishes!

As always, let me know what you thought of this review in the comments!
