Polish Review - le Polish Birthday Club Polish - Leo

Warning: This is a photo-heavy post.

It's that time again, it's time for le Polish to release the next limited edition monthly polish! If you missed the polish for Cancer, you have until today to grab it! The Leo polish, Hear Me Roar, is inspired by this image, which was voted on in the Facebook Group. Make sure to join to take part in the next voting!

Important info: This polish will be available on July 23rd at noon EST on le Polish's website, and will be available through August 22nd. Hear Me Roar is $10, or it will be free with a $10 purchase if you are in the Facebook Group and are a Leo (make sure you are on the birthday list)!

First up, a Macro of the brush. I was instantly in love as soon as I saw the bottle, and I had so much fun getting my pictures to show the holographic and the flakes!

Macro on the nail! Left to Right is glossy in direct sunlight, glossy inside, and matte inside. I did the direct sunlight because LOOK AT ALL OF THE HOLOGRAPHIC!

Hear Me Roar is a medium grey base with scattered holographic and blue/purple flakes.

I used a white base because Hear Me Roar is a bit on the thinner side when it comes to both the consistency and the polish color, and I wanted to get a full coverage manicure. I also used two coats of Hear Me Roar, so you can see some of the layering with the flakes. One thick coat of glossy top coat was used to smooth it out.

Of course, I had to use a matte top coat as well! I think I love it more as a matte polish (husband agreed), because the flakes seem to show more with it matte. I like how the flakes just pop!

Hear Me Roar applied so well. Like I said before, it is a bit thinner of a polish and I prefer a thicker polish, but I still didn't have an issue with application. It dried very quickly and I didn't have any issues with that as well!

This polish is available tomorrow at noon EST, so make sure you pick it up or get the discount code if you are a Leo! There are so many other gorgeous polishes you can get and then have this as a birthday present!

As always, let me know what you thought of this polish in the comments!
