Ever After Monthly Box - March 2016

Warning, photo heavy post.

What is the Ever After Monthly Box?: Ever After Polish's Monthly Box is a subscription box with features something new from Ever After each month. Each box will include one full size exclusive polish, one full size bath product, and one mini bath sample and/or mini polish.

How Much is the Ever After Monthly Box?: The box is $14/month plus shipping ($4 for US). The preorder is between the 15th and 22nd of the month, and the box ships out after that.

Instead of being a typical subscription where it is auto-deducted each month, you can either buy one box (during the availability time) or choose to be invoiced monthly. I of course chose the second option, so each month I receive an invoice and pay it though PayPal.

There were two polishes in the March Ever After Monthly Box!

I will add the info card information in when I get it, so make sure to check back for the updated information. The theme for March was Over the Rainbow, and we had received a hint with the lollipop in the Facebook Group!

The bath product for March was their Hand Crelly in No Place Like Home. Crellies are amazing treatments for your hands that make your skin feel like butter. There are also Cuticle Crellies that are just as amazing, and are made for your cuticles! This smells like cinnamon (to me) and feels great while wearing and after!

The full-sized polish for March was Follow Me Over the Rainbow, a gold metallic polish with holographic glitters. The inspiration seems to be the song and the idea behind the song, 'Over the Rainbow.'

There was also a mini polish in the March box, Ruby Slipper. It's a red base with red glitters in multiple sizes. Obviously, the inspiration is those famous Ruby Slippers.

It has been a crazy few weeks of Georgia weather, so lighting has been crazy. I made sure to get a good shot in both direct indoor lighting and natural lighting.

This is Follow Me Over the Rainbow (two coats and one coat of glossy top coat) on three fingers, with Ruby Slipper (three coats and one coat of glossy top coat) on the other. I thought the two polishes looked so great together that I had to show them as such. This swatch photo is in indoor lighting.

In natural lighting, more of the gold definitely shows through. In the previous indoor lighting you could see more of the holographic glitters, but I felt like it lost a slight bit of the gold-ness. It's definitely a bold gold, so don't let the one photo confuse you! The mini polish is a bit thinner/jelly like, so it did take three coats to be fully opaque.

I absolutely loved the March box! The theme was so great and such a fun one, and the polish matched perfectly! I love the extras and who could possibly be angry about a lollipop?!

As always, let me know what you thought about this box in the comments!
