NeverEnding Fairytales - February 2016

What is NeverEnding Fairytales?: NeverEnding Fairytales is a monthly subscription box by the indie polish maker, Fairytale Finish. Each month has its own theme and comes with one or two polishes (depending on what you choose) and sometimes extras! Not only can you get your subscription fix from Fairytale Finish, but she also makes gorgeous polishes and top coats!

How Much is NeverEnding Fairytales?: With Fairytale Finish, there's two options when you start your subscription! You can choose to get one polish ($11.00/month) or two polishes ($18.00/month). There is also the option to get longer subscriptions here and the subscription becomes cheaper at six months.

I'm glad that this became the official packaging for NeverEnding Fairytales. One of the biggest reasons why I started getting indie subscriptions was because it was made by a person I could speak to, rather than a corporation. It's a nice little reminder.

Instead of a theme for February, the bag uses a popular nail polish technique, The Jelly Sandwich. For those that don't know, a Jelly Sandwich uses jelly polishes (the squishy ones) and glitter bombs combined to make a unique look.

I love that she included instructions for how to do a Jelly Sandwich! Since it's not something that everyone does, it's great that she explained rather than having people have to question it individually.

Rock Candy is the jelly polish used for this mani. It's a lovely purple with a slight shimmer and is so gorgeous when it's built up. It's definitely squishy and fits in as a jelly perfectly. It's a thinner jelly, so it is perfect for a jelly sandwich!

For the Love of Nerds is the glitter bomb portion of the jelly sandwich, and it's so gorgeous! There are so many shades of red, pink, and purple, it's an amazing fit with a purple jelly. Some placing and dabbing is required to get the glitters in the places you want, but it's super easy to apply!

Instead of showing a manicure with the two colors separately, I followed the instructions on the card above to show what a jelly sandwich is. The instructions are easy and it is one of the easier nail art styles, but it's so fun to do! I love how the glitters from For the Love of Nerds under Rock Candy, and colors could easily be swapped out or used in conjunction with others to change the look.

The idea of doing a Jelly Sandwich bag is definitely and interesting and fun one. It's not often that polishes are sent to literally work together, so this is a nice change. I love both colors and they could definitely be used separately for whatever your heart may desire - always a win!

As always, let me know what you thought of this bag in the comments!
