It's tax season, which means it's time to get a new phone - right?! New year, tax refunds come and you realize your old phone just isn't cutting it anymore. When I'm looking for a new phone, the first thing I look at is the service itself. Is it reliable? Is it a good value? Can I do my daily tasks with the phones offered without spending a bundle on the phone itself? Finally, is it a phone that I can figure out how to use (this is probably the most important)? That's when I found Walmart Family Mobile and their Plus Plan!

That's when I found Walmart Family Mobile and their Plus Plan!
It's super easy to do, head over to your local Walmart and buy a phone and Starter Kit. I chose the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime because it has a quad-core processor and comes with 8GB of internal memory, which means it can keep up with me (I'm a bit of an electronic nerd)! This phone was only $79.92, which is such a great price!
It's super easy to activate and get your plan started. I chose the $49.88 one because it comes with unlimited talk, text, and data with 10GB of 4G LTE speeds. Even with how much data I use, I have yet to hit 10GB. Even if you do hit that number, there's still unlimited data beyond. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get a good signal, I live in the boonies, but I have consistent 4-5 bars of LTE in my house as well as my most frequented places.

Of course, I use my phone at home. It's so easy and convenient to work on it because the screen is pretty big, 4.5", so it's easy to see with or without my glasses. I'm a massive multi-tasker, and sometimes you need to have all of your devices running at the same time. It takes a lot to get blog posts to go live as well as cropping and watermarking photos, so it's always great to have the newest technology!
When you sign up for the Plus Plan, you get a free movie via VUDU every month! It can be watched on a multitude of devices (gaming consoles, Chromecast, your laptop, etc), so I'll be doing so on my husband's PS4 (which is hooked up to the big tv!).
Because I have unlimited data and the 10 GB of fast speeds, I can easily write/publish/participate on social media anywhere! Husband had a race event that I went to, so I figured I would work a little when I couldn't see him. My speeds still held strong and I didn't have any problems.
Of course I have to bring my planner with me, it's the only way I can keep track of life. I always have something extra to add to my to-do list, so everything is saved in my phone's calendar and in my planner. I keep everything from blog posts to calls I have to make to when social media posts have to be shared.
Trumpet has to check out everything, and he was fascinated with my new phone. He made a few calls - luckily I have unlimited talk - and decided to check out Instagram as well! He's such a nosy puppy and loves finding out what he can get himself into next! This is what happens when something new is left close to him for 30 seconds.
For only being $49.88 a month, I can talk or text as much as I possibly want and still have unlimited data to work whenever and wherever I want. It's a great value with coverage everywhere I need it to be and more. Make sure you head to your local Walmart to get your phone and sign up for the Plus Plan with your tax refund!
