Target Refresh Beauty Box Review

What is Target Beauty Box?: Target releases a Beauty Box every so often. It has now become a sporadic event, so make sure you subscribe to my email updates to know when the next one comes out! The boxes can be seen prior to purchase, and they are curated 100% with products sold at Target, so you can get the products you love.

How Much is Target Beauty Box?: The price has been anywhere from $5-$10, but you get free shipping with your Beauty Box purchase. You will have to pay taxes if there is a Target in your state, though. Every box comes with a coupon for a Target purchase, which definitely makes it worth the money!

Check out what has been in past Target Boxes here!

New Year always means new products, resolutions on what you hope to do, and usually a new routine! I had to get a new beauty routine because winter has officially shown up and it's freezing (for the South)!!

Info card.

Acure Day Cream ($9.71) - I've sampled Acure products a few times, between Target boxes, Ipsy bags, and Birchboxes, so this isn't a new brand to me. the products have all been nice and a good cream is always helpful!

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hairspray ($8.99) - I don't usually find a need for hairspray, but my mother always does and will definitely be pleased with more. John Frieda products are amazing, though, and this hairspray held up my test patch very well!

Nivea In-Shower Lotion ($1.20) - I have been eyeing this product since it was first released, but I never remembered to grab some when I was at the store. My skin gets so dry after a shower (I like hot showers way too much), so I have been meaning to try this out to see if it combats that well. It has plenty in the smaller bottle, so that's a huge plus.

Clear Shampoo & Clear Conditioner ($0.67/ea) - This is actually pretty funny. I linked to the products that was supposed to be received, but I accidentally was sent the men's 2-in-1 Clear Therapy. I contacted Target but they couldn't replace it due to the boxes being out of stock, so they gave me a gift card to make it right (I didn't expect anything, just thought it should be mentioned to them in case someone else's box was messed up). I can always use more conditioner - winter is killing my hair - and now husband has a new shampoo to briefly try out!

Simple Micellar Make-Up Remover Wipes ($6.99) - If you guys saw how many of these I go through while swatching makeup, you would realize why I am so thrilled to get more. Simple products are great and these do a wonderful job taking off my swatches.

Marlowe No. 002 Body Lotion ($0.67) - Thank goodness for more lotion. My skin has gotten super dry and I can use all of it that is around, so this is a great addition to what I already have. It's made with their own blend and smells great, so huge win!

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Exfoliating Facial Pads ($2.60) - These are actually really cool. They are pads, but they exfoliate like a normal one. They work really well without tearing my skin apart or making me super red.

Scunci Everday & Active Elastics ($0.96) - Yes, more elastics. I have so many of these, and yet I have very few. These work really well and are able to hold up my tons of hair, and I love the braided pattern!

This box is valued at $32.46, which does meet the stated value of $30 when the box went up for sale. This box was $7.00 plus tax, so it definitely hit the cost requirement! Even with the mix-up of the shampoo, I definitely got my money's worth out of this box! Make sure to check back tomorrow to see the other box that was released by Target this month!

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
