Loot Crate (Galaxy) - December 2015 + Coupon Code!

Disclosure: This post contains referral links.

What Is It?: Loot Crate is a monthly gaming and geek subscription box that sends 6-8 items each month that caters to a theme of some sort. They don't do spoilers except for what the theme is, which kills me! It was nice to open a true surprise, though.

How Much Is It?: It is $13.37/month plus $6 shipping if you do it on the monthly plan, but goes down to $17.67/month with shipping if you pre-pay for six months! If you click here and use code 'SAVE3,' you get $3 any subscription!

Funko Pop (Han Solo Snow Gear) ($20.00/Exclusive) - This is actually a really awesome addition to the box. I'm not a Star Wars fan (don't start the hate, I've just never watched any of them), but my husband is! I did see quite a few people angry because their boxes were damaged due to the way this was packed. For an in-box collector such as myself, I'm glad this one didn't come damaged because I would have been thoroughly upset.

Ugly Christmas Sweater T-Shirt ($15.00/Exclusive) - I'm guessing based on other ugly t-shirts I've found. The size is very questionable, though. We get a men's large (since this subscription is technically for my husband), but it's shaped like a women's shirt. I've seen a few problems with this month's box, so I'm not sure what might be going on with them. The design is amazing and I love the 8-bit, I just wish they would have sent the right size.

BB-8 Socks ($5.00) - These are all mine. While I'm not a fan of Star Wars, I do love BB-8 and I really love socks. They seem well made enough for normal wear, which is all I require!

Galaxy Quest Authentic Replica Patch ($10.00/Exclusive) - I admit, I had never even heard of Galaxy Quest before seeing this, so Google came to the rescue. It looks like a movie that has more of an underground following (my mom hadn't even heard of it), but it definitely fits in with the galaxy theme. The patch is a cool addition to the box and I'm always down for more exclusives!

Halo 5 Ammo Tin ($15.00) - Everything other than the shirt was packed into this tin, which is why some Pops were damaged (they didn't really fit in the tins). The tin is absolutely awesome, it's well made and could actually be used to carry around some items, so my husband is thrilled with it.

Also included was a Halo 5: Guardians Supply Req Pack. We do not have an Xbox or the Halo 5 game, so it was passed along to a friend that does have it.

Loot Crate Mini-Mag and Button ($5.00) - The button is really cool, I love the gold, and it's perfect for the last button of the year.

Overall, this box was valued at my estimated $70, which is great for the cost of the box. The items were all really nice and the only true letdown was the shirt. This is the first of twelve boxes that will include a shirt, so that means some more awesome shirts from Loot Crate (hopefully that are the right size!). The January box theme is Invasion and is to include items from Aliens, Space Invaders, The Fifth Element, and The X-Files! If you want to subscribe to Loot Crate, click here and use code 'SAVE3,' you get $3 any subscription

As always, let me know what you thought of this box in the comments!
