Pretty & Polished Review Part 1

It's time for another polish review! I decided that since I have been reviewing Pretty & Polished's Beauty Box for a few months now, it was time to show you guys what else she has to offer. Pretty & Polished is an indie brand with polishes that are 5-free. There are tons of different finishes, including holographics, cremes, and thermals, as well as nail treatments and body care products! There were some polishes I have had my eye on, and I made sure to grab them when the Black Friday sale was posted! I'm doing three today and three more tomorrow, so come back tomorrow to see the rest of my mini splurge!

First up is from the Winter 2015 collection, Frozen in Time. Frozen in Time is a dark blue holographic shade. I love a good dark blue, and this one was perfect for a winter manicure. The holographic shows up so well in the flash photo, but it is very visible to the eye under any light. Frozen in Time didn't require a top coat at all, as it was smooth at two coats.

Next is also from the Winter collection, Tinsel Hockey. Tinsel Hockey is a full coverage glitter that dries slightly matte and textured. I'm all about some textured polishes, so it was a no brainer that I would get this one. It's like sand, and I love that you can even see the texture in the photos. If you prefer your polishes shiny and smooth, this one will take at least one thick coat of top coat. I did two coats to add to the texture, but I could have gotten away with it using only one.

Finally, The Skies Are Falling. The Skies Are Falling is a holographic teal polish packed with holographic glitters. I knew I had to have this one as soon as I saw the listing. It's such a unique color, and one that I couldn't easily remember owning. The teal is definitely there, as it bounces between green and blue so seamlessly. Two coats and a top coat would be needed to smooth.

Overall, these three polishes are perfect, but I knew they would be. I became such a fan of Pretty & Polished's work through the Beauty Boxes, so I knew the formula would be great and the colors would look fabulous. I know you're wondering where the obligatory purple is from all orders, just wait, that's coming tomorrow! Make sure to check and see what the other two colors I purchased are.

As always, be sure to let me know what you thought of these polishes in the comments!
