The December box theme is Treasure, which is perfectly fitting for December.
Gem Earrings ($5.99) - Honestly, I really dislike these earrings. They remind me of something I would have gotten from a dollar store or from a gumball machine when I was younger. I like the basic design, but they could have picked a higher quality product.
Game Pad Ring ($5.99) - This is actually super cute. I don't see it being a 'treasure' item, but it's adorable enough that I'll let it slide. It's slightly adjustable and I was able to wear it on a finger that's about a size seven without adjusting and then size it down to a size six. It's nerdy and geeky and perfect for adding a bit of nerd to any day or outfit.
Minecraft Diamond Pendant Necklace ($12.44) - I found one like this online, but it looked so much better. If you haven't figured out already, I'm a huge fan of Minecraft and play it whenever I have free time, so I know what a diamond looks like - this isn't it. Diamonds don't have green, plain and simple. The back of this packaging states it's approved by Mojang, which bothers me so much. This company makes tons of Minecraft that look wonderful, so I have to assume this was a poor color choice.
Video Game Controller Scarf ($14.99) - I really love this scarf! It's perfect and chic and not so heavy that it couldn't be worn in the fall or spring. I love the design with the different controllers and definitely love it as an item. This item, though, also doesn't seem to fit in with the treasure theme.
Overall, I liked this box. the scarf is cute and I love the ring, but necklace and earrings are both disappointing and could have been done better. It's even more disappointing that the items I did really like didn't even fit in with the theme, so I hope the next month's box fits better with their theme.
