Blue Apron Part 3 + Coupon!

This box was sent to me in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.

What is Blue Apron?: Blue Apron is a weekly meal subscription box where you get to pick what meals you want to get each week or you can skip if you aren't interested that week. There's two options, a 2-Person Meal Plan where you get three meals per week with the perfect portions for two people each or the Family Plan where you get two or four meals made for four!

How Much is Blue Apron?: Blue Apron is $59.94/week ($9.99/serving) for the 2-Person Meal Plan, $69.92/week ($8.74/serving) for the 2 Meal Family Plan, and $139.84/week ($8.74/serving) for the 4 Meal Family Plan. Like I mentioned before, you can skip any weeks you aren't interested in and you are able to cancel any time! If you want to get your two meals free, click here!

All three meals came in a box with everything perfectly separated. The fresh ingredients were at the top of the box and were separated from the sealed meats on the bottom. The ice packs were still very much frozen when the box came in, so the food would have been fresh had I not brought the box in when they arrived. The little extras beyond the fruits, veggies, and meats were bagged and labeled for each meal. It was an easy way to figure out what was needed for each meal! My third and final meal from Blue Apron was Catfish Piccata & Fresh Fettuccine with Verjus Blanc & Spinach. The other two meals were things I new both myself and husband would eat, but I actually chose this one mostly for him. I'm not a big fish eater, but I was sure he would love this.

All of the ingredients were fresh and looked great, and this was almost a week after the box had arrived.

This pasta right here, it's amazing. It was fresh pasta, not dried. I can't remember having fresh pasta before, but I don't know if I can go back to dried now. I'm even looking into making my own, but I'll stick to buying the fresh store bought for now. It was super easy to cook, just a few minutes in boiling water and it was ready!

These are some pretty good sized pieces of fish. I didn't know how much fish would be included, but this definitely is enough for two people. It was so easy to fry and I love that it browned up nicely.

This is where most of the ingredients were used. This is where the sauce comes into play and where you make the flavors come together. That being said, it was super easy to do. By now, the waiting for everything to cook down was the hardest part. After cooking down the sauce and spinach, you just add some of the pasta water and the pasta to finish it off.

Overall, this meal was a hit! My husband loved it so much. I am super picky, and I even ate quite a bit of it. I don't eat much anyways, but I ate a ton for my first time eating catfish. The pasta itself is so amazing and the recipe was absolutely perfect and it's been saved for trying in the future. The meal was just enough for husband's dinner and then what I didn't eat was taken to work with him for lunch, perfect!
