Loot Crate (HEROES 2) - July 2015 + Coupon Code!

Disclosure: This post contains referral links.

What Is It?: Loot Crate is a monthly gaming and geek subscription box that sends 6-8 items each month that caters to a theme of some sort. They don't do spoilers except for what the theme is, which kills me! It was nice to open a true surprise, though.

How Much Is It?: It is $13.37/month plus $6 shipping if you do it on the monthly plan, but goes down to $17.67/month with shipping if you pre-pay for six months! If you click here and use code 'SAVE3,' you get $3 any subscription!

This month's box was the typical size, so I was completely lost on what might be in it. The Heroes theme for this month has been done before, but Loot Crate found it was so popular that they wanted to do a second Heroes box, thus Heroes 2.

Batman Q-Pop Figure ($19.95) - I'm glad to see Batman featured in this box, but he's more of a quasi-hero. This figure is cute and included is a marker and sign where you can write a myriad of things, if you take it out of the box.

Star Trek Air Freshener ($3.00) - I'm guessing on the value based on prices on eBay. I love Star Trek but I'm not sure I would consider this for Heroes. The scent is a bit strong but it's still really cute and will look great in my car!

Legend of Zelda Wristband Sweatband ($5.00) - This reminds me of something I would have purchased when I was in high school from Hot Topic. It's nothing special so I'll pass it along to a teenager that might wear it.

Batman Multi Tool ($10.00) - I'm so in love with this and I claimed it immediately. It's really handy because of the screwdrivers, but I just want it because it looks so great! There's some weight behind it, so if it were to be used for working things it will hold up!

The League of Regrettable Superheroes ($14.00) - This is the Loot Crate edition, so I don't know if this is worth more. The $14 is for the regular edition. This is a book full of superheroes that are literally horrible. It's hilarious, though, and I suggest everyone picking it up!

Rosie the Riveter/Wonder Woman Poster ($3.00) - This poster is part of a collection of collaboration posters that are all awesome. It's printed on really great paper and the colors are amazing. I am a huge fan of the concept and I want all five posters now.

Loot Crate Magazine/Button - I love the button and it's getting added to my growing cork board! I love how many I'm collecting!

Brawlhalla Skins Code - Brawlhalla is a free game and this is a Loot Crate exclusive code for skins. I had never heard of the game before this but I'll leave it up to husband to decide if he wants to play the game and use the code.

Overall it was a good month for Loot Crate. Of course it's hard to find prices for a lot of the items because they are exclusive, but it's nice to get something that's not super easy to find. I definitely loved my multi tool and poster, so that made the box worth it.

As always, let me know what you thought about this box in the comments!
