I loved this month's bag! It's so cute and colorful, I just wish I could find a bigger one to carry more stuff.
Octavio La Playa Salt Spray ($7.75) - It's been a while since I tried using a sea salt spray, so it was interesting to try it out again. My hair is wavy/curly naturally, but this helped it get a bit curlier and added a ton of texture. It's not something I would regularly use, but it's nice to do something different occasionally.
Be a Bombshell Lip Balm (French Kiss) ($14.00) - While I like the color of this, I would never pay this much for a lip balm. It's moderately moisturizing and has enough tint. For the cost, I expect something jaw-dropping.
City Color HD Powder ($5.99) - This is nothing spectacular, really. I don't have a previous opinion of City Color, so I wasn't sure how this was going to work. I have other HD powders that I definitely love more. It didn't look like I had powder all over my face or make my face look lighter, but I didn't see any 'HD' effect.
Vasanti Brighten Up ($5.67) - I've tried this before, in a past Birchbox, and I really enjoyed using it. I was pleased to see it in this bag so I have plenty more. It smells amazing, so I would probably use it even if it didn't work (but it does).
Essie (Fashion Playground) (8.50) - I have used Essie polishes and they have all seemed to work nicely. This is a great color and it levels out nicely. I love my indies, but sometimes it's nice to be able to go to the drugstore and buy a polish (like you can with this)!
This bag is valued at $41.91 and I liked it for the most part. The salt spray and Vasanti are definitely my favorites. Nothing was a huge letdown and the bag overall seemed super useful!
As always, let me know what you thought about this bag in the comments!
