Boxycharm - July 2015 (Last Box)

Disclosure: This post contains referral links.

What is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box that sends 4-5 beauty products where the boxes average out to $100+ per month. Each month has a theme, and sometimes they follow the themes. Their shipping is a bit slow, as they have it written that shipping takes 5-10 business days after payment processes. There's a referral program where you earn charms that can be used to get bonuses. They have been revamping their website so the charms program hasn't worked for WEEKS.

How Much is Boxycharm?: Boxycharm is $21 per month with shipping included. After it ships, the box usually takes about a week to get to me.

This is my last Boxycharm, at least until they (finally) update their website so their Charms program works. I've been waiting it out for months for it to be rolled and it's still not working, with no update. If the boxes had been great the past few months, I might have considered keeping it until I could redeem. That's not the case and so I have canceled until further notice.

It's another pretty present.

gorge I'll Make You Look Amazing Daily Spray ($29.95) - This came in FabFitFun's Summer box, so I have tried this already. I like leave-in conditioners, so now I have a ton of it. It's great for repairing all kinds of damage while making your hair looks so much better.

MDMflow Greater Than Mascara ($32.76) - This is an absolutely ridiculous price for a mascara, just to start out with. It's another 20 pounds to ship this, so it's nearly $64 to purchase this. I hate when boxes send stuff you can't find easily. This also had to be sent with instructions on how to use it, as it doesn't come ready to use. For the cost, I expected something much more amazing than what I got.

OFRA Cosmetics Universal Eyebrow Pencil ($13.00) - I am so over eyebrow products, and Boxycharm has been throwing it at us left and right recently. I don't see how this color is universal, and it doesn't even look dark enough for me. I can only imagine a blonde using it.

Vasanti Cosmetics Blush Brush ($22.26) - This actually can't be purchased from the maker and sent to the US, so it's something you don't want to love. The bristles feel a bit rough it didn't disperse products nicely or evenly.

YourMinerals Transparent Veil Setting Powder ($26.00) - I like setting powders and this one seems nice. It didn't leave me looking like a ghost or like I had put powder on my face, so there's not much more that can be asked of it!

This box is valued at $123.97, but felt practically worthless to me. The entire box seemed like a huge letdown and nothing was particularly summery, besides the leave-in conditioner. Combining the failure with their website update and the past few boxes (outside of last month's box) being so bad, cancelling was an easy decision. I might go back for a month to use my Charms, or I might just let them sit there untouched.

As always, let me know what you thought about this box in the comments!
