Loot Crate (UNITE!) - May 2015 + Coupon Code!

Disclosure: This post contains referral links.

What Is It?: Loot Crate is a monthly gaming and geek subscription box that sends 6-8 items each month that caters to a theme of some sort. They don't do spoilers except for what the theme is, which kills me! It was nice to open a true surprise, though.

How Much Is It?: It is $13.37/month plus $6 shipping if you do it on the monthly plan, but goes down to $17.67/month with shipping if you pre-pay for six months! If you click here and use code 'SAVE3,' you get $3 any subscription!

The theme for May is UNITE, so of course we had to get it! I knew there would be some good superhero stuff and was hoping for an Avengers collectible!

The inside of the box is an awesome locker room for heroes!

Bravest Warriors Tales from the Holo John #1 (Exclusive) - In this house, comic books aren't taken out of the pack (weird, I know). I don't know what I've ever heard of Bravest Warriors, but the artwork looks very nice. Since it's an exclusive, there's no set value on this.

Loot Crate Magazine 'Unite' (Exclusive) - Every month, Loot Crate includes a magazine detailing the theme for the month and includes information about the items included. This month's magazine also included an interview with Boom Studios, who is the maker of the Bravest Warriors Tales. It's another exclusive with no set value.

MAD Magazine Loot Crate Edition (Exclusive) - Does anyone get this that can tell me how long the real magazine is? This one seems pretty short, but it does have an offer to get Issue #532 for free on iPad.

Rick and Morty 300-piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Exclusive) - This is something else that's exclusive to only Loot Crate, so there's no price on it. It's cute, and I keep telling husband how I want to do puzzles, so I am going to (definitely try to) do this!

Loot Crate Unite Pin (Exclusive) - Loot Crate always sends a pin. Buttons are going to be put on some sort of board once I get enough.

Marvel Avengers: Age of Ultron Car Decal (~$4) - I'm not one for car decals, but this is one that's going up on my car. I love that it's simple, and it's some of my favorite characters!

Team Fortress 2 Button Set (Exclusive) - I don't play TF2, but the unicorn button is adorable. It looks like a game I'd be interested in playing, so this might be what drives me to try it!

Marvel Sneaker Laces (~$7) - These laces are the bomb and they're going to be in my converses. I'm guessing on the value, based on what comparable laces are in stores.

Flophouse Green Ranger T-Shirt (~$12) - The shirt is made of nice cotton and has a good design. From what I've seen, Flophouse makes some good quality shirts. The print feels nice on there and the design is vintage-y.

Marvel Superheroes Ice Tray (~$10) - Yes, I am going to be using superhero ice cubes for everything. It's awesome and I will be making sure I use the 'right' ones, the heroes that I like.

It's hard to get a real value on Loot Crate boxes, just because of all the exclusives they include. I like that they do include something special, as it adds something besides what you could buy in stores. Everything had a nice 'United' theme and included things for all ages! Once again, if you click here and use code 'SAVE3,' you can get $3 off your subscription box. As always, let me know what you thought about this in the comments!
