Ipsy Glam Bag #1 - May 2015
Ipsy is a monthly subscription priced at $10/month that sends 4-5 products plus a different (mini) makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points for referring people to joining. Those points can also be earned for sharing your bag on Facebook and reviewing the products you receive. The nice part is they offer online coupons for most of their monthly items and you can get the coupons for all offered products in all bags that month, just not yours. They have updated the rewards you get for using points and now will offer rewards for 500, 1000, and 1500 points. They still are terrible about updating what is offered and currently, not too much is in stock. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire.

The bags were the same style, but they had different sayings. I love this, but it's no where big enough to carry what I keep with me in my purse.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil (Ozone) ($13.33+) - Ipsy and UD teamed up to introduce everyone to the new clear lip liner being made. It can be used just as a liner to keep everything in your lip line, or used as a primer to keep every bit of color on your lips. It's just as creamy and smooth as other UD pencils and it seemed to keep the color on nicely.
Jesse's Girl Pure Pigment Eye Dust (Brown Sugar) ($3.59) - I'm not sure what to say about this. It's a plain, matte brown. Nothing spectacular and not anything I'm excited about. There were a lot of other colors that looked more unique that could have been sent. That said, it will be nice to use as a base for a good eye look.
Oscar Blandi Pronto Texture & Volume Spray ($24.00) - I'll definitely be trying this out when I get my hair good and wavy again! It adds body and texture, so I might end up looking like I came from the 80's, but there's nothing wrong with that.
Luxie Rose Gold Tapered Blending Eye Brush 205 ($12.00) - These brushes are nice and I hope to eventually receive a whole collection. It's good at picking up color but it's great at blending it out.
Nuxe Face Cleansing & Make-up Removing Gel ($1.41) - I can't put my finger on what this smells like. It's not bad, but it's kinda like 'old lady.' I will definitely live through the smell, however, because it took practically no time at all to get the makeup off of my face...with no bad effects!
This month's bag is worth a stellar $54.33, which is absolutely RIDICULOUS. There's nothing in here that I am really disappointed about and I will be able to use everything in here at some point. I absolutely fell in love with this make-up remover and I'm considering using my Birchbox points to get it once I get enough! If you get Ipsy, let me know what you thought about your bag and keep an eye out for Ipsy #2 for this month!
