Ipsy Glam Bag #2 - April 2015

Ipsy is a monthly subscription priced at $10/month that sends 4-5 products plus a different (mini) makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points for referring people to joining. Those points can also be earned for sharing your bag on Facebook and reviewing the products you receive. The nice part is they offer online coupons for most of their monthly items and you can get the coupons for all offered products in all bags that month, just not yours. They have updated the rewards you get for using points and now will offer rewards for 500, 1000, and 1500 points. They still are terrible about updating what is offered and currently, not too much is in stock. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire.

Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum ($11.55) - Hey Honey products smell so different that I expected. I am falling in love with serums and this one didn't make my face act funny, like other ones have in the past. It's not overly oily, which was the biggest win.

Starlooks Lip Gloss (Guilty Pleasure) ($3.27) - I can't find this particular shade on their website, and I'm not sure how comfortable I am with this sample since it's the same thing that was sampled by Ipsy in October, and everything is exactly the same down to the packaging and shade. It's a nice brown-pink shade that isn't super sticky, but it's not as great as some other glosses I've received. The shade works on so many skin tones, though, that it's a great win for Ipsy to include.

Jor'el Parker ($9.71) - I have heard of people either loving this or hating it, and nothing in between. I actually found it fresh and citrus-y, which is what I lean towards anyways. The small rollerball is just the right size to throw in my purse and be able to apply once I leave the house, since I always forget to apply at home.

theBalm Nude Dude (Fit) ($3.75) - I love theBalm shadows and I've had their palettes in the past. This one goes along with the other ones, and applies so smoothly. The entire palette is amazing and I am looking forward to getting it soon.

Hikari Cosmetics Blush (Tango) ($15.00) - Wow at how pink this blush is. The color it is in the packaging is the same as it comes out on the cheeks. It's very pink and very bright. It's something that I could never see myself using, so it will be thrown in the giveaway pile.

This bag is valued at $43.28, which is higher than the other bag that I received this month. I wish that I had gotten both shades of the eyeshadow, but at least I loved the color enough to have two. The perfume was the big win in this bag, though, because it fits in with what I already wear! If you received Ipsy this month, let me know what you thought about it in the comments!
