Birchbox - February 2015

Birchbox is the original subscription box, and it's still going strong. Even when the box isn't the greatest, the subscription is usually worth it because of the points system. For those that don't know, Birchbox sends anywhere from 4 to 8 products a month (full size, deluxe sample size, and sample size) and you can review your items each month for 10 points/item. You can also get additional points for getting a yearly subscription or getting referrals. Every 100 points you earn is $10 to use in their shop. Now on to the box!

I'm still not married according to Birchbox, so this reminds me that I need to try to change it again lol. I like that I'm charming this month, though, if only they knew me. ;)

I decided to get the Rent the Runway curated box, but I'm thinking about getting a non-curated box to see if I can get some more of the goodies!

Theme card.

Info card.

This month's box also came with a code for Rent the Runway. I have not looked into using it, yet, but it sounds like a good deal with the coupon!

First look.

Fekkai Blowout Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo ($6.94) - I am not a huge fan of dry shampoo, but I'm trying to use it more now that I'm not washing it as much to save from the dryness. It smells really good, though, so that's a positive.

Not Soap, Radio ($1.76) - This is another item that I didn't think I would love, but this smells so great! It's fruity and light, something I could definitely see myself using. It's the perfect size to take with me on our next trip out of town, and it will make me smell great!

derma e Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Scrub ($3.19) - I was happily surprised to see that this isn't too heavy and the scent isn't too much. It's also a very decent size, so I'll actually be able to use it more than twice!

theBalm Read My Lips ($4.00) - This was definitely one of the two items I had to have, and it looks amazing. It's not too big so I won't feel like I won't use all of it, but there's a good amount of uses! It's a great coral-y color with just enough color to be noticeable. Pic on me below!

Sumita Color Contrast Eyeliner (Raina) ($4.40) - This was my other item I had to have. I love these liners and this blue is gorgeous. It's a good neutral but still has some pop of color. It also is very long lasting. Pic on me below!

This box wasn't the most valuable, at $20.29, but it was valuable in that there were enough products that I will use! If you got Birchbox this month, let me know what you thought about it! If you didn't get a curated box, let me know what you got in yours!
