Loot Crate (FEAR) - October 2014 + Coupon Code!

Disclosure: This post contains referral links.

What Is It?: Loot Crate is a monthly gaming and geek subscription box that sends 6-8 items each month that caters to a theme of some sort. They don't do spoilers except for what the theme is, which kills me! It was nice to open a true surprise, though.

How Much Is It?: It is $13.37/month plus $6 shipping if you do it on the monthly plan, but goes down to $17.67/month with shipping if you pre-pay for six months! If you click here and use code 'SAVE3,' you get $3 any subscription!

This was a flatter, but still pretty big box. I have been doing good by not checking out spoilers so that we would be surprised before opening!

First look. Everything was pretty much covered by the shirt so I still had no clue what was in there!

Death by Kitten Shirt ($18) - A skull t-shirt but with cats? Verrrry scary. It actually is pretty frightening to me because I'm super allergic to cats and will get all gross and sneezy the second I get too close. Neither one of us will wear this, but it's soft enough and comfy enough to cut the sleeves off and make it a workout shirt for me, even if it's a little on the big side!

The Walking Dead Comic Issue #132 ($5) - This is really cool to be able to get one in a sleeve, which means it may be a collector's item. Or it may just sit in the sleeve for decades because I have never had a desire to read/watch TWD and therefore would never open this anyways. Still, a super cool thing to include and works with the theme definitely!

'Oh, Brother' TWD Print by JSalvador ($10) - This is something that I definitely am in love with, no matter my lack of love for TWD. It's super cute and looks amazing on my desk!

Loot Crate 3D Magazine/3D Glasses - This details the contents of the box. I liked that it is in 3D, but I know it gave Patrick a headache looking at it. This is great if everyone likes 3D, but not everyone does so it's a little unfair for those that don't.

How to Survive a Sharknado ($10.12) - This is a silly/serious book. We all know that a Sharknado will never happen, but it's so cute that I just had to put it on my bookshelf. I'm sure it will cause people to look twice to see if they really read it correctly, and it's a great talking piece. There's more 'unnatural disasters' besides a Sharknado, so it's a great read with some great (hilarious) tips!

Sledgesaw Hammer Pen ($10) - This pen is a Loot Crate exclusive from Dead Rising 3, so it's a pretty cool thing to have in this box. I love the design and that it's not super heavy, so I feel like I can write with it all day long. It's definitely a permanent keep, just because I will probably never find another.

Slashes & Bites Temporary Tattoos ($5) - I love these! They are perfect for Halloween and I could definitely find a reason to wear them the rest of the year, just for kicks! They are adorable and I want to buy tons of them and be super scary all year long.

LC Button & Candy - These were extras this month, and while I love candy, I'm not loving Toxic Waste Candy. Still, it was a free extra and I'm not concerned!

The value of this box is $58.12, which is a pretty great deal for what we paid. I am loving most of the box and I have some cool LE stuff to play with/enjoy, so it's a total win! Did anyone else get October's Loot Crate? What did you think about it? Let me know in the comments!
