Julep Maven Window Open! - November 2014
As a play on Thanksgiving, this month is called The Friendsgiving Collection. I find it adorable and while it's a little cutesy, it's just the right amount without being that embarrassing family member you avoid. This month, they debuted the regular nine new polishes along with a new product - mascara! If you're like me, you already have more mascara than you will ever use, but new kinds can be a good thing.

The two CWAT colors are named after two of the Golden Ticket winners!
I like a good few of the colors, so I haven't decided what I'm going to do about this month. I will probably end up doing the PLU and trading off the few I'm not really feeling. One in particular, Kiki, I feel like I have to get because that's what my nickname was as a kid for those my mom babysat that couldn't say my name. It's a nostalgia thing. :)
If there is one thing I know I don't need, it's more mascara. On top of that, I've never found Julep's makeup to be of great quality. There are too many horror stories of products coming in with mold or getting moldy/dry super quick. I also HATE that they felt they needed to add that their pictures weren't Photoshopped. That just makes me think they are Photoshopped.
The colors L-R are Regal Teal, Graphite Shimmer, and Bronze Shimmer.
If there is a makeup I would get from Julep, it would be their eyeliners. I love the colors they have, but I get so many from boxes and I've bought so many that I don't think I need any more. I will probably wait until the Secret Store and look to see if there is a deal in there for them...then I might get them.
Bonnie (CWAT) is the special, add-on only polish this month. It's adorable and if I do end up taking a box, I'll be grabbing up at least one of these!
