Beauty Box 5 - June 2014 + Free Box Coupon!

Last month, I received the BB5 box free due to the coupon, but decided to keep it a few more months to see what they offer when not being bombarded by free offers everywhere. For those that don't know, BB5 is a monthly subscription that sends 5 deluxe samples and full-sized items based on the beauty survey you complete. (Since receiving this box, I have updated my survey to see if it changes the outcome.) The box is $12/month, so decently priced, and has come the second week of the month twice for me. I'm assuming that is pattern and I will continue to get it about this time every month. They have a referral program starting up but don't have any information listed about what you get for referrals. Let's get to my box!

Once I cut the tape, the box won't stay completely together anymore. Twice in a row, but I find it kind of funny (as long as nothing is damaged).

First look. The month's theme is Summer Chic and mentions Marilyn Monroe (which I ♥). It mentions using sunscreen and mascara and being good to go, I completely agree!

Information card. I love when boxes include these!

My box. I was intrigued that they sent coupons after the madness of last month's fiasco.

Design Essentials Natural Curl Enhancing Mousse ($3.94) - It says this enhances the curls overnight without making hair crunchy, which is one of my biggest fears. I hate the crunchiness that my hair gets and it always feels like it's going to break off when I use products like that. I'm very glad this isn't supposed to do that and I look forward to trying it once my color isn't so fresh.

Nicka K New York ($4.99) - I'm over red polish, which is very red in person and doesn't photograph correctly. It's a good brand and a good formula, but I hate reds and such warm colors for anything but an accent. This will be put to sale or trade for a color I will use.

Wslor Herbal Soothing Gel & Soothing Cream ($13.64) - I can't honestly believe this is worth the amount it says, but if it is, I really hope I don't like it. These are supposed to prevent aging and moisturize throughout the day, which it probably will. I just hate when products are really good and stupid expensive.

Sedona Lace Synthetic Blender Brush ($8.95) - I have blending brushes, but you can never have too many. I will definitely use this just because it's here and I won't have to buy another. It will take time to see if it is worth the money or if the bristles fall out easily.

Glam Natural Mascara ($2.80?) - Since there's no size on the bottle, I can't get an accurate amount of worth. For $28 for a full size, though, it's not my favorite. I have plenty of other mascaras that work already and aren't as expensive.

This box was worth approximately $34.32, which is worth the cost of the box but not worth it if you aren't going to use anything. What was in everyone else's boxes? Any surprises or good items? I've not been seeing good things on Facebook, but we all know how that goes. The coupon for the free box is FREE614 for those that want it!
